PSYCHO-PHYSIO SCAN AND THERAPY INSTRUCTIONS and GUIDELINES – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

 N.B. Cancellations made less than 2 full working days before appointment date will incur a charge of 50 Euro / £40.

 

BEFORE the test:

·         do not consume strong caffeine drinks (tea, coffee, red bull etc.) before the test

·         No alcohol in the 24 hours before test

·         Only use necessary prescribed drugs or medicines in the 24 hours prior to the test (pharmaceutical medicines can in some cases mask some of the test results)

·         The therapy is not recommended for those with schizophrenia, epilepsy, or for those who are pregnant or breastfeeding (If any of these conditions apply to you please notify us immediately)

·         We require parental consent for any person under 17

·         Payment for the consultation is to be made in cash and will be required during your visit

·         Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the time of your appointment

·         Please note that following completion of the test procedure the results are sent to the remote server for processing. This usually takes 1 – 4 days.

·         A further appointment will be arranged (at no extra charge) to discuss the test results and treatment required, or alternatively, the results and recommended treatment can be sent via email and arrangements can be made to discuss these over the phone

 

If the test is to be carried out AT YOUR PREMISES

·         Please ensure the test area is free from obstructions and is suitable for the purpose of the test (e.g. a kitchen or dining room table and chair)

·         Please ensure that there are no irritants in the room (smoke, loud noise, strong odours, any distractions) and no direct sunlight on screen

·         Only practitioner and patient should be present during the test, unless the test is being carried out by a minor, in which case an adult must be present

 

DURING the test:

·         The test procedure should take between 10 and 25 minutes

·         It should not take longer than 10 minutes to restore one clip

·         The minimum quantity of clips is 3

·         If the test lasts for more than 7 clips it will be interrupted by the practitioner and repeated after a short interval

·         It is forbidden to prompt a patient which colour to use

 

The test PROCEDURE:

·         You will be given ONE TRIAL TEST comprising 3-5 videos which will enable you to become familiar with the test procedure  

• Sit comfortably in front of the computer
• A series of short videos will be displayed

·         Study the short video for 15 seconds and memorise 2 or 3 of the main colours which are evident in the components of the video e.g. the blue of the sky, the green of the grass, the white of the snow etc. 

• At the end of 15 seconds the video sequence is overwiped by a colour filter and a colour palette with 2 rows of 6 colour selections is displayed: DARK RED, GREEN, DARK BLUE, PINK, TURQUOISE and YELLOW (see overleaf)
• Your task is to recover the original colours in the video sequence using ‘the mouse’ to select the appropriate colours 

·         Take your time and recover the original colours in the pictures.  Please make your best efforts but do not rush or spend too long seeking the perfect reproduction

·         At the end of each short video sequence and test please press the OK button on the bottom of the picture on the right hand side to progress to the next video.  Continue as instructed until the test automatically terminates. 

 

N.B. There is no best way or best set of results as every person is unique, therefore you should not worry about whether, or not, you are doing the test correctly.  The total time of the test procedures will be typically around 15 minutes. (3 – 5 videos)

 

Tips for using the COLOUR PALETTE

 

Pressing the ‘TOP’ or ‘UP’ ROW of the colour palette

·         increases the colour in the picture

·         has a lightening effect

·         INCREASES the depth of a particular colour

·         reduces contrast

 

Pressing the ‘BOTTOM’ or ‘DOWN’ ROW of the colour palette

·         decreases the colour in the picture

·          has a darkening effect

·         DECREASES the depth of a colour.

·         adds contrast

 

EXAMPLE:

If the original picture is overwiped by a yellowish colour (as shown above) you can EITHER

Decrease the yellow colour to enable the hidden colours to become more prominent OR

Increase the hidden colours which will progressively eliminate the overwiping colour

 

‘LIGHT’ and ‘DARK’ COLOURS of the colour palette

·         Some colours are lighter and may be used to lighten the picture e.g. yellow, green, pink, turquoise

·         Other colours may be used to darken the picture e.g. dark blue, dark red.

·         Right clicking the ‘mouse’ enables you to make your colour selections

·         To make small adjustments to the colour - tap the mouse briefly; to make large adjustments - press the mouse continuously.

 

INSTALLING the therapy:

Please follow the installation instructions provided carefully. Each module (e.g. block for spiritual therapy, brain, thyroid, adrenal glands etc) lasts for a maximum of 6 sessions after which you are ready to continue to the next module, if applicable. DURING the therapy:

It is recommended that patients should not undertake any forms of acupuncture, ‘Scenar’ treatments, or treatment by any other technologies which work upon the meridians during the course of Virtual Scanning Therapy. It is preferred that the patient refrain from any other complimentary therapies which may interfere with the effectiveness of this therapy. To be effective the therapy must be carried out every day until completion.
